I wake first and I watch the morning creep across you.
The air, warm and heavy moves your lungs to breath. The peaks and valleys of your sheet scape revise with every inhale, stretching and then giving in to this motion.
The sun, young and skin prickling quietly pushes shadows across the room and when you wake (you don’t know it) but it rises in your eyes.
